Texas A&M University

Shah Smith &Associates, Inc. (SSA) was part of the design team that designed the 30-Year Development of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM).

Texas A&M Health Science Center

The "campus in a forest" integrates education, research and clinical facilities in an inviting setting that inspires thoughtfulness, encourages collaboration and promotes healing. Phase I included the Nursing and Health Professions Education Building (HPEB), and Medical Research and Education Building (MREB) and a new central plant for providing thermal energy.

Texas A&M University

Shah Smith provided the MEP design for the new Texas A&M University Texas Institute for Preclinical Studies (TIPS). The TIPS facility, which is LEED certified, is comprised of three buildings totaling approximately 112,000 square feet, and will train veterinarians, physicians, scientists, technicians and engineers to meet the needs of Texas' biomedical industry, and it will serve as a key resource for training undergraduate and graduate students, and academic and industry personnel in regulatory issues.

Texas A&M University

Shah Smith provided MEP design engineering services for a 225,000 square foot Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Building. Texas A&M University is developing a Life Sciences Corridor on the College Station Campus. The intent is to provide research facilities for different disciplines of research in one building to promote collaborative research from the different disciplines.
